Conversation with Board Members

Interested in getting to know Seward Co-op board members? Cassandra Meyer and Sally Nixon will be at the Seward Co-op Creamery Cafe on Wednesday, Aug. 14 from 6-8 p.m., open to Seward Co-op owners stopping by to chat and to hear from you. Come share what you love about the co-op, as well as your ideas. But most of all, just stop by to share about yourself and get to know some board members. Find them at a table in the Creamery.

Seward Co-op’s Board of Directors is comprised of nine elected co-op owners who serve the co-op for three-year terms. The board typically meets 9-10 times a year on the last Tuesday of the month, at 6:15 p.m. Meetings are open to any co-op owner, and we request you email board@seward.coop in advance of the meetings to indicate your intention to attend. This will allow us to notify you in the event of scheduling changes. Read more about board meetings here.

PROBAR® has issued a voluntary recall on select Meal® bar flavors in 3 oz. packages due to the possible presence of undeclared milk and soy allergens. Seward Community Co-op will be celebrating good food and community at Seward Co-op Creamery Café. Join us! We’ll have Seward-made food for sale under a tent and activities in the street.

Seward Community Co-op is one of the sponsors of Open Streets Franklin 2019. Franklin Avenue will be blocked off from Portland Avenue to 27th Avenue South, opening up the roadway for people walking, biking, rolling and playing.
