Seward Co-op is committed to supporting our community through grants and donation opportunities given to organizations whose work aligns with our values.

SEED

Our SEED program lets customers “round-up” their grocery bill for recipient organizations that share our commitment to a healthy community.

SEED recipients are selected by a staff-led committee comprised of mostly Front End staff, as well as a Community Choice vote that determines our annual recipients. All SEED funds donated at the register are given directly to the recipient organization at the end of each month, often totaling several thousand dollars per month.

We offer gift card donations and sponsorships for events by local organizations and nonprofits.

Gift cards can be used to purchase food and refreshments at our stores.
