Lamb Burgers with Tzatziki Sauce
1 pound ground lamb
1/2 cup feta crumbles
2 tablespoon of parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup plain greek yogurt
1 english cucumber, grated and drained
2 garlic cloves, minced
Zest of one lemon
Juice from half of lemon
In a small bowl combine greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon and zest. Mix until well combine. Season with salt and pepper and set to the side.
In a medium size bowl, add ground lamb, feta crumbles, parsley, seasonings. Mix together until well combine. Divide the meat into four patties and put a slight indent in the center.
In a large pan over medium high heat add olive oil. Once hot, add the patties and cook until crisp on the outside and the middle is slightly pink. Remove from heat.
Spread each bun with tzatziki sauce, top with patty and onions.
