These recipes are healthy and comfort food I grew up eating in my Japanese grandma’s kitchen and continue to cook for my family. Learn the comfort food of Japan with me.

Cooking with Koshiki – Nabeyaki Udon (Virtual class)

Nabeyaki Udon is a Japanese noodle dish prepared in individual earthenware called Donabe or in a pot that is cooked directly on the stovetop. Besides the chewy, thick Udon noodles, the meal consists of dashi broth, chicken, tamagoyaki (egg omelet), fish cakes, shrimp tempura, mushrooms, and vegetables. Enjoy the piping hot and delicious noodles soup at the comfort of your home.

In this class, participants will learn to make:
•Japanese dashi broth
•Chicken teriyaki
•Tamagoyaki
•Shrimp tempura
