Bibimbap // Nourish


1 cup (1/2 lb)
bulk rice
Olive oil for sautéing
6 cups fresh spinach, loosely packed
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
Pinch of salt

1/2 lb ground beef
2 Tbsp chili garlic sauce
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp minced garlic

2 or more cups vegetables- try grated carrots, sliced cucumbers, mushrooms, and/or bean sprouts

4 large hardboiled eggs
1/4 cup kimchi
1 Tbsp sesame seeds


Add rice and 2 cups of water to a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until fully cooked. Fluff and set aside.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add cooking oil, making sure it covers entire pan.

Add the spinach and sauté until wilted. Drizzle the sesame oil over top and season lightly with a pinch of salt.

Remove spinach from the skillet to a clean bowl.

Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until fully browned.

Add chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir and cook for about one minute, or until everything is evenly mixed and the beef is coated in sauce. Turn heat off.

Divide all ingredients among four bowls, sprinkling with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
