Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry // Nourish
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp toasted sesame see oil
1 tbsp sriracha
1/2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 head green cabbage, shred
2 carrots, grated
3 green onions, chopped
1/2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 lb ground beef
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp ginger, grated
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, toasted sesame seed oil, sriracha, and brown sugar, stir to combine. Set sauce aside.
Cut green cabbage in half, remove core and finely shred half of the cabbage (4-6 cups; save the other half for later use). Peel carrots and shred, about 1 cup and set veggies aside
Heat canola a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add ground beef, ginger, garlic and pinch of salt and pepper. Cook until beef is brown, about 5-6 minutes.
Add cabbage and carrots and continue to stir and cook until cabbage is slightly wilted, or full wilted if prefer. Stir in sauce mixture and green onions. Sprinkle sesame seeds and drizzle with srirach.
