Basil Pork Burgers // Nourish


1 1/2 lb ground pork

1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoon black pepper

5 cups white button mushrooms, sliced

1 yellow onion, diced

1 cup canola oil

Hamburger buns


In a small bowl, combine ground pork, basil, salt pepper and shape them into 8 even-sized patties. Set to the side.

In a large skillet, heat some of the canola oil on medium high heat. When hot, add patties and cook for 4 minutes on each side. Cook until it’s no longer pink and place them on buns.

In a large skillet over medium high heat add in the rest of the canola oil. Once hot, add in mushrooms and onions and cook until tender. Season with a salt and pepper.

Top burgers with veggies and enjoy!
