Here at Seward Co-op, we take pride in working direct with local farmers, processing whole carcass animals, and having a large variety of fresh, housemade sausages. We work directly with many small-scale, local farms that we have had the opportunity to visit and see firsthand how the animals are raised and handled. We offer a great variety of fresh, sustainably fished seafood delivered to us daily from our neighboring fish market Coastal Seafood.
With skilled butchers and staff at the helm, we are able to offer a wide variety of cuts, fresh fish, sausage, and deli meats. We are excited about all of our offerings, and we are happy to tell you our favorite way to cook them or let us help you plan your next dish or menu. Looking for something specific? Feel free to ask at the counter or give us a call — special orders are encouraged. We are also able to order whole hogs, lamb, and goat for your next roast or large party. Stock up the freezer with one of our many bundles. All our farmers work within our standards of natural, drug-free, minimally processed, and humanly raised animals.
We are proud to host a rotation of heirloom offerings, as well, including: Red Wattle hogs from Pork and Plants; and fresh bison from Eichten’s. Stop in often to see what we currently have available.
