The farmers of St. Croix Valley have generations of experience saving rare heirloom seed varieties, rotating crops/using cover crops, planting/weeding by hand, and humanely raising animals on grass and sunshine. They are committed to living in harmony with the seasons and land and working collectively for the common good through being low waste and using no chemicals, no GMO’s, and no animal drugs.
“Your CSA shares will be colorful and exciting and not repetitive. Making a living on the land, farming in harmony with nature and working together as a family are values we cherish. We consider it a privilege to work collectively as farmers for the common good of the land that we intend to pass on to our children. Our organic and heritage farming practices are pure, simple, low waste and low energy. For generations we have planted and farmed with wind, solar, hydro, hand, and horsepower. PURE FARMING = PURE FOOD.”
