Beer + Cheese Pairing Class Series – Intro to Minnesota Craft Brewing

Zipps Liquors, Fulton Brewing and Seward Community Co-op proudly present beer and cheese pairing classes!
Join us in the classroom at Zipps Liquors for a three part class series celebrating craft and imported beers paired with local + specialty cheeses from Seward Co-op.

Tuesday, June 13 – Intro to Minnesota Craft Brewing

Tuesday, June 20 – Craft Beer and Cheese Pairings

Tuesday, June 27 – Belgian Beer and Cheese pairings

Attendees must be 21+.
Attendees will receive a 1000 Zipps Loyalty Rewards points, valued at $20; and a $3 off coupon for cheese at Seward Co-op.

Cost: $20, includes all 3 dates.

Seward Co-op’s Board of Directors invites potential candidates to learn about cooperative governance and the 2023 board election. Candidates must be current owners of Seward Co-op and be committed to the long-term sustainability of our co-op.

All candidates are required to attend an online information session + a board meeting to be eligible to run in the election. Upcoming meeting dates are June 27 and July 25. Learn more about becoming a board member here. 

At the Candidate Information Session beginning at 5:15 p.m., you’ll hear from current directors and receive documents detailing the expectations of candidates. All interested candidates will need to submit a form and essay by Aug. 1. Please email board@seward.coop to receive Zoom meeting information.

Meetings of Seward Co-op’s Board of Directors are open to any co-op owner. The next monthly board meeting is virtual and will be held Tuesday, July 25. To indicate your intention to attend, please email board@seward.coop prior to July 25. This will allow us to provide you the virtual meeting link.

Seward Co-op’s Board of Directors is comprised of nine elected co-op owners who serve the co-op for three-year terms. The board typically meets 9-10 times a year on the last Tuesday of the month, at 6:15 p.m. The co-op’s board of directors appreciates hearing from you! They are available to answer questions and provide information about cooperative governance.
