Thank you to all who visited the Franklin store during our remodel celebration on Dec. 9! We had a great time showing off the store updates and hosting Community Foods demos with Sweet Science ice cream, Quebracho empanadas, Baba’s hummus, and Homestead Honey. Members from the board of directors stopped by to offer hot cider, cookies, and free 50^th anniversary books to shoppers. We took entries for a raffle—winners will be contacted the week of Dec. 11—and held a variety of Microgreens activities for kids, including a store iSpy, squash painting, and coloring. Music duo Corazon en la Mano played in the seating area, tying the whole afternoon together.

We would once again like to thank shoppers for their continued patronage, understanding, and graciousness during the remodel. And to Seward Co-op staff, thank you for your hard work, adaptability, and patience during the past few months. We couldn’t have done it without you!
