Winter Seward-made Items

Year-round our staff works to make great food for owners and shoppers. Each season, Seward employees bring new ideas and recipes to the Creamery Café production facility, so there are always fresh and seasonal treats in the Seward Co-op stores. Seward-made items are crafted using ingredients sourced from Community Foods producers. Enjoy tasty snacks perfect for entertaining, like our roasted beet hummus, the sweet Thai chili carrot dip or the popular chicken liver pâté!

Look for the penguin sticker throughout the store for more of our winter seasonal items.

Chicken Liver Pâté

Grab a jar starting December into the new year, while supplies lasts. Hand-crafted by our sausage production staff with Kadejan chicken and Hope Creamery butter. Our chicken liver pâté is a great option to include in a spread at an upcoming winter celebration or to gift to the host!

Stuffing Sausage

Our sausage makers craft Seward-made meat items at the production kitchen behind the Seward Co-op Creamery Café. The stuffing sausage is crafted to be the perfect complement to and stuffing recipe. It’s made with ingredients from Community Foods producers Peterson Craftsman Meats, and Pork & Plants. Try our recipe and start a new tradition.

Rosemary and Garlic Flavored Lard

Our Meat & Seafood staff honor the animals and use every bit, providing a variety of products to customers and a more sustainable model with less waste. Our staff crafts tasty flavored lard – perfect for packing flavor into your dishes. Made from rendered pork fat and flavored with rosemary, thyme, garlic and salt, it’s perfect for sautéing veggies or basting chicken to get a crackly skin! Grab a pack from the Meat & Seafood department at either store.

Deli Grab ‘n’ Go Dips & Snacks
