For 11 years Seward Co-op has been committed to paying staff a living wage, and we endorsed the City of Minneapolis’ $15 Minimum Wage ordinance before its ratification in 2017. We are pleased to share today that Seward Community Co-op and United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 663 members ratified a 3-year union contract, solidifying a $15 an hour starting wage scale and additional paid time off (PTO). We are grateful for the hard work of our employees and view the UFCW 663 as a partner in our efforts to make Seward Co-op a great workplace.
On Thursday, Nov. 28, Seward Co-op will have shortened hours from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
