Join sisters Francesca Garcia and Jessica Ferlaak, as they demonstrate their favorite elderberry syrup recipe. They will also show you how to make fire cider, a potent immune supporter. Learn tasty and creative ways to incorporate food as medicine into your life this cold and flu season!

Attendees should plan to bring two pint-sized jars or containers to take home samples of elderberry syrup and fire cider.

Board of Directors November Meeting

Meetings of Seward Co-op’s Board of Directors are open to any co-op owner. The next monthly board meeting is virtual and will be held Tuesday, November 28. To indicate your intention to attend, please email board@seward.coop prior to November 28. This will allow us to provide you the virtual meeting link. Captions are available upon request, and if you have a need for other accommodations, please include them in your email and we will do our best to meet them.

Seward Co-op’s Board of Directors is comprised of nine elected co-op owners who serve the co-op for three-year terms. The board typically meets 9-10 times a year on the last Tuesday of the month, at 6:15 p.m. The co-op’s board of directors appreciates hearing from you! They are available to answer questions and provide information about cooperative governance.
