About Kadejan Chicken

Kadejan chicken was founded in 1989 and is a family-owned, multi-generational chicken producer from Glenwood, Minnesota. The name is an acronym for the owner’s children. They began by raising pheasants and eventually were able to expand production to include chickens. Their relationship with restaurants and local co-ops inspired Kadejan’s decision to begin the process of organic certification. Support a family-run, free-range chicken farm

Kadejan chickens have always been free-range birds, happily clucking and freely roaming around their barn enclosure as the weather permits. Their birds do not receive any antibiotics or growth hormones, and are fed organic herbs to help maintain the birds’ health and keep them pest-free.
