- 38th Street Bridge
Seward Community Co-op will be a co-sponsor for a special event to celebrate the re-opening of the 38th Street Bridge. This will be a sit-down dinner on the bridge with kid-friendly activities, live music and more. The goal of the event is for neighbors from both sides of the bridge to meet in the middle for dinner and conversation. The conversation, facilitated by Marnita’s Table, will furnish space for open dialogue and healing. The dinner will be catered by Eat for Equity and will include halal, vegan and gluten-free options. The hope is that family, friends and neighbors will gather and celebrate the reopening of this cornerstone bridge and to reconnect the neighborhoods and rebuild community divided by the bridge construction.
