Community Room Reservations

Our community room/classroom spaces are available for reservation by any organized community group, non-profit, or neighborhood association. We do not allow reservations for personal business or personal events. We are able to provide meeting space only. We are unable to allow outside groups to utilize our kitchen or cooking equipment.
Reservations are free — we offer the space as a service to our community.

Please see the information and guidelines on the classrooms, below. Reservation confirmations will be sent to you via email pending room availability.

Guidelines

• The classroom must be booked for a minimum of at least 3 people.
• The classroom may be booked at least 2 weeks in advance, and no longer than 3 months ahead.
• We are unable to book the room for an indefinite amount of time (i.e. weekly meetings); however, you are able to request specific dates at least two weeks in advance and for up to three months. If you reserve the space for multiple ongoing meetings, we reserve the right to ask for an adjustment to your reservation date(s) if a schedule conflict arises.
• Groups reserving the classroom may not utilize our kitchen or cooking equipment.
• Since we are a grocery store, we ask that you do not bring any outside food. We have a full service grocery store with deli (including gluten-free, vegan, and other options to meet various food restrictions). You are welcome to eat in the classroom if you have purchased food at Seward Co-op.
• We do allow spiritual/religious-based communities to use our space, with the understanding that these groups are a way many cultural communities organize in order to do work that benefits the community. However, we do not support proselytizing in any way within the co-op.
• Please ensure that the room is clean before you leave, and make sure you and your guests are using the correct landfill, recycling, and compost bins for any waste. Please return all tables and chairs to their original formation.
