Shepherd Moon Farm a woman-owned, family run CSA using sustainable farming methods to feed our communities. They are committed to caring for the Earth and developing the local economy. They incorporate their animals into the farm by composting the manure of the sheep and chickens and feeding the animals damaged crops or leftovers from the field.
The farm works to build community and relationships through work. One example is the requirement that members work on the farm to connect with each other and the land. By supporting Shepherd Moon’s CSA, you are contributing to building a resilient local food economy.
