Ground Turkey Casserole // Nourish
Ingredients
1/2-1 pound ground turkey
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup green pepper, chopped
4 cups canned tomatoes
4 cups cabbage, shredded
3 cups cooked rice (1 cup uncooked)
1 TB salt
1 tsp oregano
1tsp basil
1 tsp garlic powder (or 3 cloves)
1/2 sour cream
1 cup mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Sautee meat, onion and green pepper in large fry pan until meat is browned and veggies are soft
Add remaining ingredients (except sour cream and cheese) and cook until cabbage is crisp-tender
Stir in sour cream and cook until all veggies are soft and cream is distributed
Add cheese on top and let melt
Serve x 4
