Indigenous “Seafood” Boil


Ingredients

10 Waabizii-opiniig / swan potatoes, peeled
15 crayfish
5 clams
2 cups hominy
1 bison mettwurst sausage, coined
Water
6 Tbsp Old Bay seasoning

Instructions

Fill a large pot with water and bring to boil
Reduce to simmer and add Old Bay seasoning.
Add the swan potatoes and cook until tender, approx. 35 minutes
Add bison sausage and hominy.
Once sausage is almost cooked, add the clams and crayfish
Once the clams open, turn off heat, and serve.
