2022 Indigenous Foods Class Series- Wild Rice Porridge


Ingredients

3.5 cups vanilla almond milk
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 cup wild rice
Dried cranberries
Hazelnuts
Pepitas
Allspice, ground  

Instructions

Cook wild rice. Rice should be overcooked and extremely soft. 
Combine wild rice, milk, maple, allspice, salt and bring to warm temperature.
Pour entire contents into a blender and blend.
Serve with pepitas, maple syrup, and cranberries.

Serves 4
