Foxtail Farm is a MOSA certified organic farm offering spring and fall CSA shares. Their hope is to provide a CSA that extends the enjoyment of farm fresh produce longer throughout the year. This 2021 season continues big changes at Foxtail Farm as owners Emmalyn Kayser and Cody Fitzpatrick continue to implement no till practices and switch to a more human powered model. It is their hope to continue to foster a whole farm ecosystem that not only produces high quality food, but regenerates the soil web and biodiversity of plant and animal life. Emmalyn and Cody firmly believe in the power of food to transform communities through connection to each other and our natural world. They hope to continue to build community and work for a world we can ALL be happy and healthy in. Foxtail Farm is located in the St. Croix River Valley near Osceola, Wisconsin; about 50 minutes northeast of the Twin Cities.
New in 2021- Mutual Aid option: Thanks in part to generous donations from customers, Foxtail Farm was able to give over $3,000 worth of fresh, organic produce to folks in need in 2020. This year, they are partnering with Shared Ground Farmers Cooperative to raise money for the Food for the People CSA program. Any donation made toward Foxtail Farm’s “Solidarity Share” will go directly to giving low income families (with a focus on BIPOC community) access to free weekly CSA shares, while also supporting a cooperative of local, diverse farmers to earn a living wage. Foxtail Farm’s owners believe everyone should have access to locally and responsibly grown farm food, not just those with financial wealth.
