Curbside Pickup is now available for all shoppers!
This week, we opened Curbside Pickup to all members of our community. Co-op shoppers can select from many of our products in an online catalogue at seward.coop. If desired products are not in the catalogue, you may make special requests for specific items at the end of the order process.
Once Seward Co-op receives your order, an employee will pick the items ordered, and will then call you and take final payment via credit card. (The total cost can only be determined after the employee picks the order, because items like produce need to be weighed.) We will charge a $6 service fee. An employee will bring your order out to you during the pickup time you select. You can pick up your order at the Franklin store in the designated parking spots on 29th Ave., or at the Friendship store in the designated parking spots on 38th St. Please note that we have reserved one of the three daily pickup times for only those who are most at risk of COVID-19, including those who are first responders, folks 60 and over, and those with compromised immune systems. People in this group may also select any other available pickup time.
We are excited to support our community in this new way, however there are some limitations. All orders must be placed online. For the time being we are unable to accept payment over the phone via government food access programs including SNAP/EBT and WIC, or payment types which require a PIN. In addition, the pandemic continues to strain the co-op’s supply chain. We may be unable to provide all ordered products at the time of purchase.
Seward Co-op has quickly developed and built the tools that support this new program. Please be patient with us as we continue to work to improve the service. We intend to offer an additional daily pickup time soon.
