Winter is already here. It’s known that getting through a Minnesota winter is no small feat. To help get through the thick of it, self-care is a must. Our Wellness department has essentials to brighten the mood and keep you cozy indoors.

We are especially excited to welcome new Community Foods producer Ital Vibrations and longtime favorite Sun Leaf. Ital Vibrations is a Black-owned, small-scale producer from Minneapolis, handcrafting blends of bathing tea to nourish and revitalize the skin. Sun Leaf is a local producer, handcrafting essential-oil-based aromas with 5 percent of proceeds going toward protecting clean, fresh water initiatives.

In 2007, Teresa started SunLeaf Naturals, her own line of handmade, plant-based soaps, candles and diffusers. SunLeaf products contain no synthetic foaming agents, preservatives, fillers or petrochemicals, but rather pure plant-derived ingredients, such as beeswax, soy, palm and 100% essential oil scents. Teresa sources organic ingredients when available and never tests her products on animals. You won’t find plastic bottles of SunLeaf products—their minimal packaging is designed to be composted or recycled.

ital vibrations™️ is a local, Black-owned lifestyle company founded by Rashena and Stormy Hamilton. A cult favorite, Bathing Tea™️ is an aromatic, hand-crafted formulation comprised of organic herbs, spices, flowers, seaweed, essential oils and natural resins. Bathing Tea™️ is a natural addition to your wellness practice and may also be used as a foot soak, hair rinse, or hydrosol!”

Juniper Ridge

Juniper Ridge is built on the simple idea that nothing smells better than the forest and that the only way to bring this beauty home is to strap on your boots and go there. All plants used in their fragrances are wild-harvested with the utmost sensitivity and respect for the existing wildscape. Never using alien or invasive species and they are actively involved in native plant restoration projects from San Diego to Seattle. 10% of all of their profits are annually donated to a portfolio of Western Wilderness Defense organizations.
