Seward Co-op Grant Program Application

Please complete the online form below. The SEED, Seward Community Fund, and People Powered Perks grant application processes are combined. By submitting an application, your organization is automatically considered for all three programs.

Organization description

We often need to provide a "pitch" about your work to our customers in under 10 seconds. Please describe your organization and how the funds will be used in two sentences or less. Should you be selected, these descriptions will be used in our marketing materials along with information provided in your narrative file (below).
Briefly describe your organization (1-2 sentences). For example, "Jane's Community Farm provides fresh produce to local food shelves and provides youth workshops to learn how to grow food."
Please briefly describe what grant funding would be used for (1-2 sentences). For example, "Funds will be used for general operating costs" or "Funds will be used to build a new greenhouse on the farm."
Is the work for which you are seeking funding time sensitive? Are you requesting selection during a specific month for the SEED program? Please describe.

Narrative

Please provide a narrative (no more than two pages) including the following:

• Information about your organization and its mission.

• Specific information about how the grant funds will be used.

• A description of how the work for which you are seeking funding aligns with our Ends Statement and other stated criteria.

• If your organization has received funding from Seward Co-op in the past, please describe how this funding supported your stated goals.

Recipient Requirements

Should you be selected as a Community Choice finalist or SEED recipient, we will reach out to request the following; which we will need to receive in a timely manner to be able to promote your round-up month.

1. 2-3 high-resolution photos representing your work to be used in marketing materials

2. For chosen SEED recipients, confirmation of two 3-hour tabling shifts (one at each of our store locations) during the first weekend of your SEED month (or as available)
