- Coffee grinder (if you get your coffee pre-ground, select a coarse grind)
- Cheesecloth, flour sack cloth, or strainer
- 32-ounce mason jar
Cold Press Coffee Concentrate
Ingredients
- Coffee beans, or grounds
- Water
Instructions
- If not already ground, coarsely grind your coffee. You need about 1 cup of grounds.
- Transfer coffee grounds to the container you’re making the cold brew in.
- Pour 4 cups water over top (filtered water for best taste). Stir gently.
- Steep overnight, for up to 12 hours, on the counter or refrigerated. Cover the jar with a lid or small plate.
- Strain the coffee through a strainer of your choice.
- Store in the fridge, and when ready to use, top it off with water or milk to taste. This concentrate keeps in the fridge for up to a week and enjoy for up to a week.
