S. Martinelli & Company is issuing a voluntary recall of a single lot of Martinelli’s glass bottles of “Apple Juice”, due to the potential for this product to contain elevated levels of patulin, a naturally occurring substance produced by molds that may grow in apples. Long-term exposure from drinking apple juice containing elevated levels of patulin could cause nausea, vomiting, and possible other health impacts. Only one specific lot of the 4/10-oz. bottles of Martinelli’s Apple Juice are affected by this recall.

Seward Co-op may have sold this at both stores between December 15, 2024-March 19, 2025. If you purchased this product at Seward Co-op, it will be fully refunded at the store it was purchased.
