Love You Cookie

Love You Cookie has been a labor of love from the very beginning. In the midst of the pandemic, shortly after the murder of George Floyd, Sahr Brima (he/him) and Sarah Brima (she/her) decided they had to do something. In an effort to uplift her husband, Sarah Brima went to the kitchen and set out to make the best cookies. The end result was marvelous — something between a scone, cake, and cookie. After sharing some batches with family and friends, they realized they had something truly special on their hands. From that day, Love You Cookie was born. The Brimas along with their friend and business partner, Kamal Mohammed (he/him), owner of Nashville Coop, has shared their mission of encouraging others to treat themselves and spread defiant optimism.

Love You Cookie has experienced rapid growth in the last year, especially once they partnered with co-ops and grocery stores, and it’s easy to understand why. They use quality ingredients to make large, puffy, delicious cookies. Sahr’s favorite way to eat the cookies is warmed quickly (about 10 seconds) in the microwave. They are delicious on their own or paired with your favorite scoop of ice cream on top.
