On Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, an individual came into the Franklin store and made a violent threat toward a staff member. As a result of this threat, we made the decision to close the store early to prioritize the safety of staff and customers. We will be back to regular business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

While this person has a history of theft and has been removed from the store before, more recently their demeanor has become increasingly erratic and violent. We are working directly with the Minneapolis police to find and apprehend this individual as quickly as possible. The Franklin store will be closed for the remainder of the day as we work on the next steps to ensure everyone’s safety. All staff members will be paid for hours they were scheduled to work.
