Canning 101: An Introduction to Water Bath Canning

Bring a little bit of summer into the cold winter months! Whether you buy your favorite produce in bulk at the farmers’ market or grow your own bounty, water bath canning is a great way to make sure nothing from harvest season goes to waste.
Join canning expert and Northern Gardener Magazine contributor, Taylor Tinkham, for an introduction to water bath canning. You’ll learn about canning equipment, safe canning practices and techniques, and see a full demonstration of the canning process with lots of opportunities to ask questions along the way. You’ll leave with tons of resources and the confidence to start stocking your shelves at home!
