Africa is native to more grains than any other continent. Participants will learn how to buy and eat traditional African grains, peas, nuts and seeds.

ImageAfrican Heritage cooking is a plant-based, hands-on cooking series that will explore simple and delicious foods of Africa, the Caribbean and the American South. Participants will receive an introduction to the vibrant history, culture and nutrition of African heritage foods while preparing a dish reflecting the class topic.

Please register for this event at Customer Service. Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the date of the class. Classes may be cancelled by Seward Co-op (for a full refund) if there isn’t a sufficient number of attendees registered.
