Local Ham & Swiss

Have you tried the Local Ham and Swiss sandwich from the Deli yet? We use tasty local ham from Beeler’s farm, bread from a local bakery, Swiss cheese and onions, and toast it hot when you order it. - Sean, Deli counter

Our current store (which opened on Jan. 8, 2009) is the result of more that three years of planning and communicating with members and neighborhood residents, a year of construction and $1.5 million in member investments.

The 13,000 square feet of retail space - double that of Seward Co-op's previous location - enables the co-op to offer a number of new products and services.

The second level of the store houses our new classroom, allowing us to fulfill and embrace the fifth cooperative principle: education, training & information. This principle states that co-operatives provide education and training for their members, elected representatives, managers, and employees so they can contribute effectively to the development of their co-operatives. You can view the most up-to-date course schedule here.

Each department at Seward Co-op offers a wide range of high quality, local and organic products. Click on the various department tabs in the Store drop-down menu to learn more about the products we offer, and the new items found on our shelves.

Everyone Welcome!
