HOURCAR announces a hub location at the Seward Co-op Grocery & Deli, 2823 East Franklin Avenue, in Minneapolis. The Seward Co-op hub features HOURCAR’s first Honda Insight hybrid, an appropriate addition to one of the world’s most fuel-efficient car-sharing fleets.
The Seward Co-op HOURCAR hub is made possible by the sponsorship of the Seward Co-op and the support of the McKnight Foundation. “Seward Co-op is thrilled to sponsor this HOURCAR hub,” says Sean Doyle, Seward Co-op General Manager. “Our membership and staff are already committed to reducing their carbon footprints, so HOURCAR fits in well at the co-op.”
“The Seward Co-op has invested a tremendous amount in the community,” says Ari Ofsevit, HOURCAR Program Manager. “By offering an HOURCAR hub at their new store, the Co-op provides neighbors with a low-carbon transportation option that also saves them money.”
