Shopping at Seward Co-op Grocery & Deli is different from other stores. It comes through in our friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and our concern for the community, our customers, and the planet. You do not need to be a member to shop at the co-op, but if you decide to join you will enjoy numerous member benefits.
Becoming a member of Seward Co-op is easy. Stop by our Customer Service Desk, complete an application form and make a $75 stock investment in the co-op.
Seward Co-op member-owners enjoy numerous member benefits, including:
- 10% off the total of one shopping trip per calendar quarter;
- Member-only specials throughout the store;
- An investment in their community;
- A vote—to help choose the board of directors and impact the future direction of the co-op;
- A 10% discount on special-order case purchases;
- Check cashing for $40 over the amount of purchase;
- A discount on classes in our classroom;
- Sprout!, the co-op’s own publication and the Twin Cities Natural Food Co-ops’; Mix, both delivered to members’ homes;
- A refund proportional to the amount spent at the co-op during any profitable year
