Growing numbers of Americans without prior hunting experience are interested in hunting as a source of healthy, sustainable meat. Participants will be introduced to the knowledge, skills, and equipment necessary to becoming a deer hunter. The class will also outline and take applications for an inclusive, multi-session DNR “Adult Learn to Hunt Whitetail Deer” education program, which is designed to teach participants how to be safe, ethical, and knowledgeable deer hunters. Complimentary venison stew and chili served.
