- Seward Co-op classroom, 2nd floor
Food and plant waste can have a life beyond the compost pile. In this class, we will use food (some of which might otherwise be discarded) to create a palette of vibrant natural colors. Learn how to make dye from produce, prepare different surfaces to absorb its rich, living color molecules, and experiment with our home-made pigments on silk cord, wool yarn, a cotton grocery tote and cotton rag paper.
$30/$25 co-op owners + $20 materials fee
Instructor: Abbey Kleinert
