Scott Kroyer

Scott is a manager for Advanced Informatics, near Saint Anthony Main, where he builds software for healthcare education. He grew up on a small dairy farm near New Prague, which is where he first learned about cooperatives through a dairy cooperative, electrical cooperative and shopping at Valley Natural Foods. He became a co-op owner when he first moved to Minneapolis in 1993. In addition to his interest in cooperative economics, Scott is passionate about food, nutrition and the social, cultural, economic and ecological aspects of how we produce and relate to food. Scott enjoys that his work on the board allows him to be a steward of those interests by promoting the growth of the co-op and the interests of its owners. Scott lives with his wife, Pam, their young daughter, Molly, and a menagerie of pets in the Morris Park neighborhood of South Minneapolis.
